Masi 3V

Is Masi the ultimate in racing bikes? No one knows, and there are many disputes about these high-quality frames, especially after the name was sold and additional production began in the USA. However, the fact is that the traditional Italian manufacturer has been producing top-class frames since 1952, initially under the direction of the inventor Faliero Masi and then from 1973 by his son Alberto Masi. Many well-known professional riders such as Jacques Anquetil, Antonio Maspes, Enzo Sacchi and Fausto Coppi rode this frame.
The Masi 3V is an iconic road bike model produced by Masi Bicycles, a respected Italian-American bicycle manufacturer. The "3V" stands for "Volumetrica Veramente Veloce," which translates to "really fast volumetric." This model was introduced in the late 1970s and early 1980s and quickly gained a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and innovative design concept. The Masi 3V is not only known for its technical innovation, but also for its elegant design. The frames were often designed in vibrant colors and with decorative graphics that gave the bike a classic and timeless look. Today, Masi 3V road bikes are highly sought after by collectors and cycling enthusiasts. They represent an era of cycling and bicycle manufacturing that was known for its attention to detail and craftsmanship. Masi's models are still highly valued and hold an important place in cycling history.
This group from Campagnolo is also a myth in itself. After Tullio Campagnolo died in 1983 and the whole world was waiting to see what the company would release next, they came around the corner with this legendary group. At first glance, the C-Record was very controversial because on the one hand it was the heaviest rear derailleur (211g) in a long time and on the other hand it did not use titanium or anything similar. However, the design boasted a high level of aerodynamic flexibility and became an absolute cult object, with which several victories in the Tour de France were achieved.
